Remember when summertime meant splashing in the water, running through sprinklers, and taking a dive in the city pool? Now that I’m all grown up, it’s fun to see my sweet nieces make the same memories I have from growing up! Here is a photo Michelle caught with her lensbaby last summer of her daughter splashing in the lake. I love how it captures the excitement of the moment!
Now that summer is finally upon us, pull out those sprinklers, take a trip to the local swimming hole, and snap a few photos of kids of all ages Splish, Splashing away to beat the heat! Remember to link-up your photos below for an extra entry in our Birthday Celebration Giveaway!

To be eligible for the extra entry in our first Birthday Celebration Giveaway, just follow these simple steps:
- Your photo must be your interpretation of the theme, “Splish, Splash!” Your photo does not need to have a person in it.
- You must link directly to your blog post, not your blog’s home page. Are you uploading from FLICKR? Click here for a how-to on how to enter your photo. Facebook photos don’t play nice with our link-up tool, so we will no longer accept photos linked-up from Facebook. We apologize for any inconvenience.
- Add our button to your post (our button is located towards the bottom of our sidebar to the left).
- Your photo must not contain any nudity (even sweet little baby bums!)
This link-up will be open Tuesday, June 21st through Friday, June 24th at 11:59pm (MST).
If you’re not sure how our link-ups work, see our FAQ page.

Hi there, for some reason, I can’t get a thumbnail to post with my entry. It is off my Flickr site. Is there something I am doing wrong? Thanks! Mine is entry #2.
Hi Lyndsey, I’ll check it out. Don’t be alarmed if you see your link disappear for a second.
I added it as a new entry and the thumbnail is now showing up. I’m not sure what was happening, possibly the browser or a setting on flickr could have been preventing it from posting right. But whatever it was, it’s working now!
Thanks for sharing your photo with us!
Thanks Misti, I am on a different computer, so that could be preventing everything from working like it normally does. Thank you for fixing it for me!
Misti, I am having the same problem with my thumbnail showing up. When you click the “no Image” thumbnail, my photo is there. I am also using Flickr.
Hi Amber, it looks like the link-up plug-in can’t grab a thumbnail because your photo is private. You might want to take a look at the settings you have on Flickr, and make sure you set the permissions to be viewable to the public. Try that, and if you still have trouble, let me know.
Thank you! I got it fixed!
