Anyone have one of these? I just ordered that and a new flash (SB-700) from Amazon. I suppose I should have asked for advice BEFORE I ordered it...
I don't know whether I should be terrified or excited. Any words of advice?

I don't know a lot about the Lightsphere, but I have the Gary Fong pop-up flash diffuser, and to tell you the truth...there really is a noticable difference in the diffused photos. It's been a great accessory for making my snapshots better for sure! I'm pretty impressed with their products. You'll have to let us know what you think of the lightsphere when you've had a chance to play with it.
