I’m super excited to share with you an inside look at Click, a Clickin Moms publication that was created for the woman in love with photography. Hmmm…could that be you?

Let me ask you this:

  • Do you light up when you see the newest, trendiest photography gadgets?
  • Do you love photo contests?
  • Do you pour over your favorite photographer’s online galleries, all the while wondering, “How’d they do that?”

Well then, I’d say you’re pretty obsessed. But you’re not alone, and that’s why Clickin Moms’ founders felt inspired to create this print publication full of photography goodness to satisfy your cravings!

Inside, you’ll find features, including inspiring stories, beautiful sessions, and Q&As from some of the industry’s leading photographers. You’ll also find articles covering things like tools, tips, and techniques. Plus, what would a magazine be without contests, giveaways, and a special boutique stocked with the latest and greatest tech and gadgets?

My favorite articles

As a graphic designer, I LOVED the article, “True Colors,” in the March/April 2013 edition, written by Jack Reznicki. Aside from recounting one of my favorite scenes from the movie, “Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House,” Reznicki goes over the differences in the three main color spaces and how to optimize your settings for the best results. If you’re having color issues in your photographs, this article is a must-read!

In this same issue, I enjoyed Mary Marantz’s article, “Shine a Light.” Using the same subject, she shows what three different sources of light look like, including Ambient Light, Bounce Flash, and the One-Light Setup. If you’re an event photographer and you find lighting to be a bit of a challenge, this article might just be right up your alley.

And, if you’re just one of those photographers who loves inspiration from beautiful photographs, well then, Click magazine will NOT disappoint.
