I’m super excited to share with you an inside look at Click, a Clickin Moms publication that was created for the woman in love with photography. Hmmm…could that be you?
Disclosure: This post may contain affiliate links where we earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. We only feature products we use and would recommend to our friends.
Let me ask you this:
- Do you light up when you see the newest, trendiest photography gadgets?
- Do you love photo contests?
- Do you pour over your favorite photographer’s online galleries, all the while wondering, “How’d they do that?”
Well then, I’d say you’re pretty obsessed. But you’re not alone, and that’s why Clickin Moms’ founders felt inspired to create this print publication full of photography goodness to satisfy your cravings!
Inside, you’ll find features, including inspiring stories, beautiful sessions, and Q&As from some of the industry’s leading photographers. You’ll also find articles covering things like tools, tips, and techniques. Plus, what would a magazine be without contests, giveaways, and a special boutique stocked with the latest and greatest tech and gadgets?
My favorite articles
As a graphic designer, I LOVED the article, “True Colors,” in the March/April 2013 edition, written by Jack Reznicki. Aside from recounting one of my favorite scenes from the movie, “Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House,” Reznicki goes over the differences in the three main color spaces and how to optimize your settings for the best results. If you’re having color issues in your photographs, this article is a must-read!
In this same issue, I enjoyed Mary Marantz’s article, “Shine a Light.” Using the same subject, she shows what three different sources of light look like, including Ambient Light, Bounce Flash, and the One-Light Setup. If you’re an event photographer and you find lighting to be a bit of a challenge, this article might just be right up your alley.
And, if you’re just one of those photographers who loves inspiration from beautiful photographs, well then, Click magazine will NOT disappoint.
That is really hard to pick but right now I’m fascinated bu Kate T. Parker!

I admire Jim Zuckerman at http://www.jimzuckerman.com. One day I would live to do one of his exotic photography trips!
There are so many good photographers out there, it’s hard to pick a favorite. Still #1 in my book would be Ansel Adams. I just love his work and never tire of seeing it. I like John Greengo, Trey Ratcliff, David DuChemin and Anne McKinnell, etc. Each photographer has something different to offer in the way of learning and seeing things in a different light.
I love Illona Haus of Scruffy Dog Pet Photography. I love pets and especially dogs and love to photograph them. She captures their personalities beautifully.
I have been always inspired by gorgeous photography by Joe Buissink, also recently heading slowly towards more abstract and artistic photography so I love to look at some of the photos of Heather Evans Smith.

I like so many photographers but here are some of my favorite female photographer websites.
I LOVE Kate T. Parker!!
I love and follow local artists. Ellen Zaslaw has captured – for me -some of the most innocent, beautiful, tell a story, portraits of people in her work. I never tire looking through her portfolios at the expressions she captures. http://ellenzaslaw.com/ Depending on the particular work, portraits, weddings, nature, buildings, etc. the artist I follow varies though, I enjoy looking at everyones eye capturing shots ~ we each vary to what we see and how it affects us.
My favorite professional photographer is Stacie Jensen. She is an awesome inspiration and I am a die hard fan of her actions. http://www.staciejensenphotography.com
That’s definitely a tough call! I’m going to say it’s a tie between Pastel (Mindy Harris), Jinky Art, and Katherine Marie. Each is very inspiring and true to their art.
