Love that Shot Photo Adventures
We’re all about the experience of getting outside and adventuring with our cameras! But that doesn’t mean we need to travel to exotic locations to create beautiful photographs. Sometimes, all we need to do is step outside our door!
That’s what I’ve done for the last several years. I’ve explored my home state of Idaho looking for incredible subjects and enjoying the experiences along the way. Many of these adventures have been as close to home as you can get, right in my hometown.

Hey Guys, it’s Misti from Love that Shot!
A Fine Art Photographer, Gallery Artist, and YouTube Creator who loves to inspire others to get out in the field with their camera and enjoy the adventure!
I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with an emphasis in Graphic Design from Boise State University (Go Broncos!). This means that, in addition to my design and typography classes, I also studied drawing, illustration, painting, printmaking, ceramics, you name it. The medium that stuck with me… you guessed it, Photography!
My goal is to inspire you to “Get out there. Get clickin’. Adventure awaits!”
Hey, we’re Misti and Steve, the team behind Love that Shot! We love exploring the small, tucked-away towns we often find ourselves in as we travel the state of Idaho looking for fun Photo Adventures! We’ve been married for 14 years and enjoy many of the same things… working in our yard, BSU Bronco Football, and being out in nature (Misti photographing the beauty and Steve fishing)!
Steve is the cameraman behind our adventures, taking care of the filming while Misti focuses on the photography. He is Part 107 Certified by the FAA to fly our drone commercially in the US. He makes sure it’s safe and legal to fly. We’re a team when it comes to Photo Adventures, so you’ll often see us both operating the remote in order to capture the perfect scene.
Love that Shot was created in the summer of 2010 by two sisters, Misti and Michelle, gathered around a dining room table. What began as an outlet for us to share our passion of photography with others, grew into something much, much more. We met so many amazing friends from all over the globe as we traveled to places like Arches National Park, Zion National Park, Seattle, Las Vegas, The Big Island, and the cotton fields of Texas!
We also had the privilege of partnering with some of the most innovative companies in the industry including Adobe, Nik Software, Lensbaby, Manfrotto, BlackRapid, The National Association of Photoshop Professionals, Clickin Moms, Epiphanie, Kelly Moore Bag, and more.
While it’s just Misti now, the mission remains the same… it’s all for the love of photography!
