We all have photographers we look up to. You know, the ones we want to be when we grow up! Well, we want to go behind the lens and feature these photographers’ stories, but we need your help!
Leave a comment below letting us know who you would like us to reach out to (be sure to leave a link to their website or blog so we’ll be able to find them). These photographers can specialize in landscape, portraits, street photography, and more. Let’s fill our blog with inspiring photographers in many walks of life from around the world!
I would love to shadow Alison Shaw. http://alisonshaw.com/ Her dreamy landscapes, seascapes, and nature shots are completely wonderful. She offers workshops in my area. Many of her photographs are taken right here in Midcoast Maine.
Karen Olson
My absolute favorite landscape photographer is Richard Bernabe. He takes amazing photos and teaches in a way that makes sense, regardless of your experience. http://www.richardbernabe.com
My favorite photographer is Audrey Woulard from Chicago. She shoots families and children in natural light. Her understanding of light enables her to use it to make amazing images, even in full sun. She inspires me and I would love to shadow her to see how she makes such beautiful images.

Oh my goodness…there are so many excellent photographers but I think I would have to say Megan Vaughn at http://www.megan-vaughan.com/ . She seems so genuine in her shooting style and makes something that’s so simple look like a million bucks!
I would love to nominate Kim Klassen http://kimklassen.com She is really so wonderful in her Still Life photography work…and also just a plain, nice person. She gives lessons and never leaves anyone being…she would really be an asset to you to showcase her..I know my work would not be as good as it is today if it wasn’t for her..
Thanks for reading this and giving her consideration…
These are all great ideas! Thanks, Karen, Stacy, Pam, Dalinda, and Cheryl! Keep the suggestions coming!
I would love to shadow Joe McNally. I have had the pleasure of shaking his hand, and found him to be the most gracious, sharing, talented and creative photographer around today.
